Teacher Dyor started studying the violin at age 5 in Uzbekistan and had won many top prizes in national music competitions back home. Most recently in 2017, he came in second at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition in New York, USA.

 

Teacher Dyor began formal musical training at the Academic Lyceum of Talented Children at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. Later, he was awarded a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Zhang Manchin. He has participated in viola masterclasses taught by renowned musicians such as Paul Silverthorne, Igor Naidin, Cynthia Phelps and Alexander Mishnaevskiy.

 

As a musician, he has performed all over the world from Germany, Norway, USA to Hong Kong and South Korea with orchestras in the region. Teacher Dyor will be training Asia Music School’s students in the Talented Young Violinist course.
