Teacher Dior is an award-winning violinist and violist whose artistry has been celebrated on international stages. A winner of the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition 2017, he was invited to perform at New York’s renowned Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and received a special certificate for his outstanding performance.

 

Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Dior began violin at the age of six and gave his first public performance at nine. His early career was distinguished by top prizes in multiple national competitions, including the Kids of Art, Music Talents, and National Young Talents contests, as well as first prizes in Uzbekistan’s major viola competitions.

 

An active performer across the United States, Europe, and Asia, Dior has appeared as soloist and chamber musician in Germany, South Korea, Macao, Hong Kong, Norway, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore. His expertise is recognized worldwide: he has served as a judge for the Basel International Online Music Competition, the Music Singapore International Violin & Piano Competition, and other prestigious events across Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Japan, and beyond.

 

Dior holds a Bachelor of Music from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. As Head of the Violin Department at Asia Music School, he is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of string players, combining rigorous technique with a passion for musical expression.
